Nomadical Tracks was founded by Cameron Bailey and shaped through years of travelling, working, and leading trips across multiple regions, not from trend reports or supplier catalogues. We have led journeys from London into Central Asia and the Caucasus, lived long-term in Mexico, and travelled extensively across Southeast Asia.
This mix of urban, remote, developed, and emerging destinations shaped how Nomadical Tracks views travel, not as a checklist, but as something learned through repetition, contrast, and time spent on the ground.
Cam believes travel is a personal journey and should be bespoke and tailored to individual travellers preferences.
Our Journey
Nomadical Tracks originally began as a travel blog (Nomadical Travel) created by Cam Bailey at the age of 19, built to document real-world travel as it was experienced rather than idealised. Over the next 11 years, and across 58 countries, that documentation evolved into a deeper understanding of how travel actually works — from pacing and routing to location choice and decision-making on the ground.
As experience grew, so did demand. What started as writing gradually became trip planning, then leading journeys, and eventually designing bespoke itineraries for others. The transition from blog to travel company was not a rebrand, but a natural progression — applying learned judgement, firsthand experience, and trusted local expertise to help others travel with confidence and clarity. Nomadical Tracks is now an Independent Travel Consultant with Jamie Wake Travel (a trading name of Wake Enterprises Limited). This means we are fully licensed with full financial protection & ATOL protection.
Bespoke Design.
Nomadical Tracks designs journeys through conversation, not forms. Every trip begins by understanding how someone actually likes to travel — their pace, priorities, interests, and what they choose to avoid.
Those conversations don’t always have to happen online. They can take place on the phone, over a coffee, on the golf course, or during a wine tasting. We take the time to listen properly before designing anything.
Journeys are then built using a combination of firsthand experience, established design principles, and trusted local expertise. Decisions around routing, accommodation, pacing, and experiences are made deliberately to create travel that feels personal, well-balanced, and easy to enjoy.
